Job Description
The Networking Executive will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s network infrastructure. This includes configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network devices and ensuring a seamless connection for all users and devices.
Responsibilities
- Configure, install, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
- Ensure the network infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to ensure minimal downtime
- Continuously monitor network performance, including bandwidth usage, uptime, and connectivity
- Identify and address potential network bottlenecks or security vulnerabilities
- Utilize network management tools to track performance metrics and generate reports
- Monitor and update security protocols to comply with industry standards and regulations
- Provide technical support to end-users in resolving network connectivity issues
- Perform diagnostics and fix network problems (hardware or software related)
- Assist in configuring and managing network devices and software for employees
- Work with other IT team members to integrate networking systems with other IT infrastructure
- Assist in network-related projects, such as network upgrades, expansions, or migrations
- Liaise with vendors or third-party service providers to troubleshoot issues or procure networking hardware/software
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) with network service providers
Technical Skills
- Proven experience as a Network Executive, Network Administrator, or similar role
- In-depth understanding of networking concepts (eg: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN)
- Hands-on experience with network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, etc)
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools and diagnostic software
- Strong knowledge of network security practices and technologies

- Executive must be able to quickly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues
- Candidates need to be meticulous to avoid mistakes that could cause network failures or security breaches
- Clear and effective communication is essential when interacting with colleagues, clients, and vendors
- A strong candidate will be vigilant about network security, understanding risks, applying best practices,
and staying up to date with security trends
