Job Description
As a Web Developer at Apsensys, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing our website, ensuring a seamless digital experience for our business-focused audience. Working alongside the creative, editorial, and marketing teams, you will bring web designs to life, integrate content, and continuously improve the website’s functionality and performance.
Your expertise in both front-end and back-end development will be essential in creating an interactive, engaging, and user-friendly platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize the websites, ensuring all technical aspects run smoothly and efficiently
- Implement and maintain responsive web designs, making sure the website works seamlessly across all devices (desktop, tablet, mobile)
- Work closely with web designers and the editorial team to translate creative designs into fully functional web pages and interactive elements
- Ensure that the front-end code aligns with the overall design and user experience vision of the editorial and creative teams
- Focus on website speed, optimization, and overall performance, ensuring fast load times and minimal downtime
- Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, errors, and bugs, and proactively resolve issues to maintain smooth website operation
- Work with back-end systems to manage and optimize databases for storing and retrieving content, user data, and analytics
- Develop and manage APIs to support website features and integrate third-party services (eg: social media feeds, e-commerce, or subscriber management)
Technical Skills
- Front-End: Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks
- Back-End: Experience with PHP
- Databases: Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Key Attributes
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex web issues
- Experience with web security practices and protocols to safeguard against threats and vulnerabilities
- Understanding of responsive web design principles and mobile-first development
Qualifications
- Graduate in computer science with PHP Knowledge
- Experience working in Laravel Framework
