Responsibilities
- The Editorial Team Member will be responsible for writing, editing, and proofreading high-quality articles related to business, finance, economics, entrepreneurship, and industry trends
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business-related topics, excellent writing skills, and a passion for creating insightful and engaging content that keeps readers informed and inspired
Technical Skills
- Research and write compelling articles, features, and interviews on a variety of business-related topics, including industry news, market trends, leadership, entrepreneurship, and corporate strategies
- Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, grammar, style, and consistency in line with the magazine’s editorial standards
- Conduct interviews with business leaders, experts, and entrepreneurs to gather insights and create engaging stories
- Contribute ideas for articles, columns, and features that reflect the publication’s vision and attract readers in the business sector
- Conduct thorough research on business-related topics, including statistical data, market insights, and emerging trends
- Ensure all facts, figures, and sources are accurate and well-cited, particularly when dealing with financial or technical data
- Apply best practices to articles to enhance discoverability and ensure content reaches a wider audience online
- Work closely with graphic designers, and digital teams to ensure seamless integration of visuals and written content
- Ensure content is ready for publication by meeting strict editorial deadlines and ensuring the highest quality before going to print or being published online
